Nursing Lecturer in Mental Health


Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum


Middlesex University is seeking an experienced Nursing Lecturer in Mental Health to join their faculty. As a key member of the School of Social Work and Mental Health, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students on the BSc and postgraduate Mental Health Nursing pre-qualifying courses.


The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, alongside academic qualifications at postgraduate level. They will work closely with the Mental Health Group to develop innovative teaching materials and contribute to the delivery of the university's mental health nursing curriculum.


In addition to their academic expertise, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively engage with students, staff, and external partners. A strong understanding of the mental health nursing landscape is essential, as is the ability to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in the field.
