Northern Ireland Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill a Clinical Assessor position in Northern Ireland. As a Clinical Assessor, you will be responsible for undertaking clinical functional assessments for applicants to the Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme. Your key responsibilities will include gathering relevant information from the applicant and/or representative, analysing and interpreting clinical information, and compiling a comprehensive report in a professional and concise manner.
You will also be required to meet face-to-face with applicants to review available medical evidence and determine the permanence of their condition and percentage disablement. Additionally, you will need to seek insight and further medical evidence as required from GPs, other healthcare professionals, or services to support the applicants TPDPS application.
Requirements for the position include being a fully registered medical practitioner, psychologist, registered nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or social worker. A fully registered status with the GMC/NMC/HCPC/NISCC with a valid PIN is also essential. Furthermore, a valid full driving licence and access to a car are required.
This role offers a competitive basic salary of £38,500 per annum (pro rata for part-time), increasing up to £41,400 plus up to 10% bonus. The benefits package includes 23 days holiday, annual professional registration fee reimbursement, company matched pension, and plenty more.
