Bayesian Analyst Position

The International Society for Bayesian Analysis has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in Cambridge, UK. As a member of our Quantitative Biology group, you will develop Bayesian machine learning models to predict drug toxicity.
This is a 3-year programme with a competitive salary offered. The first 2 years are on a Fixed Term Contract, with a possible 1-year extension based on performance. You will have access to comprehensive training and be encouraged to pursue independent research under the guidance of a leading academic advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Bayesian models for drug toxicity prediction
- Working with the Quantitative Biology group to advance knowledge in the field
- Maintaining strong ties with industry partners through collaborative research
- Publishing research findings in top-tier journals
With expertise in R or Python, strong knowledge of Bayesian statistics, and familiarity with modern Bayesian software, you will make significant contributions to our team. The estimated salary for this position is around £55,000-£65,000 per annum.
