About the Role

The Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Band 2 Administration Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (22.5 hours). This position will be based in the Newcastle area, with occasional travel to other clinic locations within the North Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent area.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Previous experience of administration and booking systems is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

  • Booking and rescheduling Physiotherapy appointments via telephone
  • Handling incoming telephone calls and dealing with queries from patients, relatives, carers, and Physiotherapy staff
  • Supporting clinical services, including scanning, filing, creating, and sending clinic appointment letters
  • Contributing to service improvement and patient engagement initiatives

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (£9.50 - £12.00 per hour), depending on experience.

Requirements
  • Good standard of education
  • NVQ level 2 / RSA 2 or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience of office and administration procedures
