About the Role

The Customer Export Representative is responsible for managing shipping and export processes for a global customer base within a dynamic sales and customer service environment. This role involves proactively addressing customer inquiries, ensuring efficient and effective export administration, and adhering to company standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process global shipments and prepare export shipping documentation.
  • Book and coordinate with Freight Forwarders.
  • Ensure export compliance by tracking, checking, and storing export declarations and AWB's.
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Respond to export and invoice queries promptly and accurately.
  • Provide backup support for team members, including order entry and order confirmations.
  • Manage contract reviews to ensure adherence to LAND's terms, conditions, and DLA processes.
  • Enter and interpret data in internal databases, SAP ERP, and CRM tools.
  • Support international offices, representatives, and distributors.
  • Promote and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer service standards and profitability.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Customer Service environment.
  • Previous experience of SAP Business Systems is desirable.
  • Familiarity with export procedures & documentation.
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft products.
  • Good problem-solving skills, communication, influencing, and assertiveness.
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship building.
