Computacenter is seeking a skilled Data Centre Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Sales & Pre-Sales & Alliances business unit, you will be responsible for engaging with Enterprise organisations in the UK to identify and develop Data Centre and Hybrid opportunities. Your expertise will be crucial in understanding customer requirements, defining solutions, and negotiating commercials to close deals. You will work closely with our Account team to develop pipeline and provide end-to-end ownership for specialist aligned opportunities. If you have a proven track record of selling Data Centre solutions and services, and can demonstrate thought leadership in the industry, we want to hear from you. Key responsibilities include:

* Working with the Account team to identify Data Centre and Hybrid opportunities and develop pipeline within Customers
* Providing end-to-end ownership for specialist aligned opportunities
* Supporting the qualification process with the customer account teams
* Assisting the customer through a process of understanding their requirements, defining a solution, creating a compelling proposition, and negotiating commercials and closing the deal
* Managing the internal service providers and any external suppliers
* Evaluating contract spend in a given organisation to optimise spending patterns, technology usage, and implementation strategies
* Showing insight and thought leadership to our customers and partners regarding contracts and commercial agreements
* Developing strong knowledge of industry trends by developing proactive professional relationships with vendor partners
* Providing leadership and knowledge to customers and maintaining a strong presence in the Data Centre and Hybrid industry community
* Developing strategy to maximise opportunities and grow market share

Requirements include:

* Experience selling Data Centre solutions and services
* Proven experience operating as a specialist/overlay
* Proven track record of winning Data Centre deals
* Experience negotiating deals
* Ability to build relationships and develop strategic partnerships
* Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
