Job Summary
The Team Assistant (Commercial and Regulatory Affairs) role sits within the VIRTUS Commercial and Regulatory Affairs team, accountable for ensuring VIRTUS is fully compliant with all relevant legislation, rolling out the ESG roadmap, and risk management.
Duties and Responsibilities
The role includes:
- Typical administration functions, such as coordinating meetings, taking minutes, preparing agendas, updating filing systems, and assisting with preparing reports and presentations.
- Improving processes and functionality within the Commercial & Regulatory Affairs department.
- Assisting with internal and external audits, supporting the Compliance Team with collating information, ensuring all information is up-to-date and fit for purpose, and booking audit meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the Compliance Team to manage customer and shareholder requests for information.
- Partnering with the ESG Lead on projects to deliver the ESG roadmap.
- Coordinating with the SVP Commercial & Regulatory Affairs on property planning, power, and insurance workstreams.
- Some account coordination.
What Success Looks Like in 12 Months
Fully up to speed and working well within the team, with a full understanding of the requirements of the department and the business, able to work on projects and deliverables without close supervision.
Person Specification
We are looking for a strong team player with excellent organisation skills, flexibility to get involved across a range of activities, and good Office 365 skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Good literacy in the English language is essential, and previous experience in a compliance role is useful but not essential.
