We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Bias Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting multi-skilled maintenance services, covering Low Voltage electrical disciplines, and providing reactive and proactive maintenance services to all operational equipment.
Key responsibilities include overseeing Low Voltage Switching Operations, utilizing Mitie Safe Systems of Work, and carrying out modifications and installations when required. You will also be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical equipment to optimize reliability and maintainability.
As a Data Centre Maintenance Specialist, you will ensure that all key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers as needed. You will work in high standards, in line with current company policies and procedures, and report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may result in failure of service delivery, risk to health and safety, or the environment.
The ideal candidate will have appropriate up-to-date training, such as AM2 or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline), and good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance. They will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, as per the Health and Safety at Work Act, and have good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High Voltage or Low Voltage Appointed Person experience would be advantageous, as would previous experience working in a critical environment.
