About the Role

As a Data Centre Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centre facilities. This involves carrying out technical maintenance, repairs, and installations, as well as providing first and second-line support to meet customer SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring buildings, environmental conditions, and relevant systems to identify potential issues
  • Carrying out routine preventative maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure maximum performance
  • Overseeing contractor work to ensure health and safety procedures are followed
  • Documenting results and reporting issues to minimize downtime

Requirements

  • Proven engineering experience of air conditioning, UPS, generators, and LV systems
  • Experience of working as a technician in an electrical or industrial environment
  • Strong technical fault-finding skills using graphical information and alarm data
  • Good communication skills in English, including report writing
