Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at UKCIL Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to a 15-year-old young man with ADHD, ADD, and a learning disability.

The purpose of this role is to enable the individual to socialise, take part in various activities, and have time away from his family to give them a break from their caring role. The Support Worker will mostly provide support out in the community, accompanying the young man to the shops, eating at McDonald's, going to the cinema, and visiting arcades.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and proactive in their work, suggesting activities to do out in the community and being prepared to be flexible each day. A car driver with their own transport is preferred, but not essential as public transport can be used. Expenses will be met by the employer.

Hours: 3 hours per week during school holidays, 5 hours per week during term time. Hours will be discussed further at the interview.
