Salary
£22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. This competitive salary reflects the challenging yet rewarding nature of this role.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced cook to join our team in Cannock. As a residential cook, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for children with a range of dietary needs. You will work closely with our specialist teams to plan menus, order food within budgets, and assist young people with independent skills. Your passion for healthy eating and creative approach to cooking will inspire our children to develop good habits and try new dishes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- a passion for cooking and nutrition
- experience working with children or vulnerable adults
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
