Position Overview

The role of the Credit Strategy Risk Manager is pivotal in advancing the NatWest Boxed credit strategy through effective leadership in product innovation, account management, and policy formulation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the evolution of personal lending portfolios within NatWest Boxed, identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization to design, approve, implement, and monitor credit policies.
  • Support the delivery of credit risk services to clients by developing and maintaining robust risk and decision support models.

Additional Duties

  • Assist potential clients in understanding the value of our credit risk services.
  • Provide technical insights and strategic input into new client and product initiatives, as well as regulatory updates.
  • Manage portfolio credit risks, including bad debt provisions and risk-weighted assets, ensuring compliance with limits.
  • Ensure that personal credit risk portfolios remain within established risk frameworks.
  • Lead change management initiatives through the successful execution of strategic projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders across a diverse organizational structure.
  • Influence ongoing credit customer management and related projects.
  • Offer insights and constructive challenges to drive automation efforts.
