About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Manager to join our team at TalkTalk Telecom Group PLC. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our credit risk acquisition and in-life strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Risk Analysis:
  • Develop and maintain credit risk scorecards in line with product and package offerings.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure a cohesive approach to risk.
  • Support commercial and trading teams by delivering data-driven insights and executing decisions within our credit risk policy.
  • Manage credit bureau partners and external data stakeholders to improve modelling capabilities and measure the performance of existing models.
  • Provide detailed requirements into projects impacting credit risk, ensuring changes are delivered while protecting the business from financial risk.
  • Develop and maintain a wider Debt & Fraud predictive model to increase effectiveness in end-to-end strategy.
  • Work cooperatively with the Finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Provide statistical information/data to the PM teams to assess reporting and operational needs for strategic projects.

Credit Risk Operations:

  • Validate payment performance data and bureau submission monthly.
  • Manage a small team of credit underwriters, delivering effective decisioning on non-automated credit risk decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in credit risk management and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk models and scoring systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
