About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team at TalkTalk Telecom Group plc. As a key member of our operations, commercial, and trading teams, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our credit risk acquisition and in-life strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Credit Risk Analysis:
  • Develop and maintain credit risk scorecards in line with product and package offerings, ensuring accurate and detailed reporting on product/package performance.
  • Support commercial and trading teams by delivering data-driven insights on the financial risk of propositions and executing commercial decisions within credit risk policy.
  • Manage credit bureau partners to assess and integrate new products and data opportunities, subject to business value.
  • Identify and develop ways to improve our cost-effective debt recovery strategy, leveraging credit risk insight.
  • Manage external data stakeholders and suppliers to enhance modelling capabilities and measure the performance of existing models against expectations.
  • Provide detailed requirements for projects impacting credit risk, ensuring changes are delivered while protecting the business from financial risk.
  • Develop analysis on acquisition credit strategy and operational processes, building models to improve the effectiveness of customer management processes.
  • Own the company's Credit Acquisition scorecard, ensuring regular assessment of predictive power and utilization of internal and external data sources.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure clarity of process, clear objectives, and a cohesive approach to risk.
  • Produce and develop analysis in line with business requirements, focusing on consumer acquisitions, debt, churn, and operational performance.
  • Support the build of a wider Debt & Fraud predictive model to increase effectiveness in end-to-end strategy.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams on OPEX, budgets, churn, and cash forecasting.
  • Provide statistical information/data to PM teams for reporting and operational needs.
  • Support/Deliver insight to credit bureau(s).
  • Ensure all work meets audit level standards, including process flow, procedures, and development documentation.
Credit Risk Operations
  • Validate payment performance data and bureau submission monthly.
  • Manage a small team of credit underwriters, delivering effective decisioning on non-automated credit risk decisions.
