Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our dynamic Credit Risk team. This pivotal role will focus on enhancing our lending strategies to ensure sustainable profitability within our Financial Services division. You will collaborate closely with the Credit Risk Manager to assess current strategies and identify potential improvements that benefit both our customers and the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth ad-hoc analyses, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to bolster the Credit Risk team.
  • Assist in the planning, testing, and execution of strategic modifications within the credit risk decision-making framework.
  • Ensure the timely and precise generation of regular Management Information (MI) reports, providing valuable insights for senior leadership.
  • Analyze and monitor the effectiveness of the group’s lending strategies and risk assessment systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Act as a representative of the Credit Risk team in cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of key metrics in Financial Services and Credit Risk Key Risk Indicators, assessing their impact on overall performance.
  • Enhance your SQL and SAS capabilities to an advanced level.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional technical proficiency.
  • Previous experience as an analyst within a Credit Risk environment.
  • Self-driven and dependable.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Logical and strategic thinker.
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or SAS is essential.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as lookups, pivots, and charts.
