About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Manager to join our Commercial Product Sales team in South Central, South & West London. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maximising market share and sales through relationships with regional contractors and the value creation of opportunities and winning projects with key merchants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strive to recover share and volume for commercial products, while maintaining margin contributions.
  • Work closely with the Head of Technical Solutions to provide support on ASHP and Hybrid options.
  • Embody the company's vision and values, and maintain a proactive approach to managing sales activity.
  • Deliver the budget and build the project pipeline, meeting and exceeding all KPIs outlined by your Manager.
  • Manage day-to-day activities, reports, and communications, and reduce the focus on forecast demand by building close relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
  • Negotiate and manage the needs and expectations of our customers, aiming to influence the buying decision.
  • Provide a range of information, including CAD/BIM objects, technical reports, and installation guides, to support customer decision-making.
  • Identify and develop new customer relationships, as well as manage existing accounts, to drive sales growth.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external colleagues, including non-conflicting manufacturers.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety procedures and current guidelines are upheld.
About You
  • You will have extensive experience in a technical and engineering discipline or be educated to HND/degree level.
  • You will have a proven track record of delivering sales and lead generation across multiple channels and market segments.
  • You will have experience of senior-level negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • You will be highly numerate, able to turn data into information and action, and have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • You will have a broad knowledge of the UK Construction markets and routes to market.
  • You will be an excellent communicator, able to communicate at all levels, and have worked across multiple market segments and applications in the construction industry.
