About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Manager to join our team. As a Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for managing and driving the commissioning process, leading on-site functional testing, and ensuring that all plant and systems are fully commissioned and inspected in line with contract specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commissioning process with contractors and professional teams, ensuring effective communication and compliance with project processes.
  • Perform commissionability and design reviews, and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
  • Issue weekly commissioning reports, write and compile technical input to formal change control processes, and ensure regular reviews of construction against approved design.
  • Manage, coordinate, and review commissioning procedures, and attend and report on commissioning and testing as appropriate.
  • Ensure all parties are coordinated for witnessing, and provide input to project risk register.
  • Coordinate, plan, and schedule training with the project team, and ensure all documentation is created and approved in ample time.
  • Organize, chair, and minute commissioning meetings, ensuring actions are issued, managed, and closed out.
  • Review and assist subcontractors in the development of project-related QA/QC documentation.
  • Write test scripts and integrated systems test scripts, and coordinate input from all parties throughout the project.
  • Witness on-site functional testing of plant, equipment, and systems, and ensure all appropriate commissioning handover documentation has been reviewed and approved prior to handover.
  • Ensure commissioning defects are communicated properly and dealt with, and compile 'Close out' documentation.
  • Create and manage handover commissioning checklists and close-out reports, and pass comment on contractors SOO schedules and O&M manuals.
Requirements
  • Technical engineering excellence in Mechanical, Electrical, or BMS engineering.
  • Excellent IT, planning, and reporting skills.
  • Proactive and problem-solving nature, with good communication skills and a dynamic approach to project build and client requirements.
  • Excellent management skills to foresee risk, and adaptability to change requirements for the projects.
