Customer Service Desk Operative Role Overview

Leidos is seeking a Customer Service Desk Operative to join the team in Bicester, UK. The Customer Service Desk operates a Jira-based customer service tool called Komodo, offering customers a dynamic and flexible approach to raising tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, record, and resolve customer queries by telephone/Komodo.
  • Refer unresolvable Tier 1 tickets to Tier 2/3 or Team Leader when applicable.
  • Communicate all responses back to the customer in a polite and professional manner.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Team Leader.

Requirements:

  • Communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload to ensure Operational needs are met.
  • Establish themselves as a team player and be welcoming and accepting of everyone.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Previous experience in a call centre environment is preferred, but full training will be given.

Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30.
  • The role combines office and home working.

Clearance Requirements:

  • BPSS to start.
  • BPSS for the role.
