Business Development Manager

EFAB Resourcing Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for driving growth and profitability by identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding market reach.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess market trends, future developments, and opportunities to inform business strategy
- Identify development opportunities and agree a strategy with the Managing Director in line with the Market Sector Strategy
- Assist the Business Functions in producing information for proposal submissions and PQQs
- Advise the Managing Director of potential alliances, Joint Ventures, and Acquisitions
- Assist the Managing Director regarding operational matters
- Produce a weekly/monthly BD update report and support in updates during the monthly BD Meeting
- Support the BD Function in its delivery of company KPIs
- Revenue Growth: Meeting or exceeding revenue and sales targets, which is a primary metric of success
- New Business Opportunities: Identifying, pitching, and securing new clients or markets to increase business revenue
- Strategic Partnerships: Securing strategic partnerships, collaborations, or joint ventures that enhance the company's market presence
- Market Research and Analysis: Researching potential markets, understanding competitive landscapes, and developing entry strategies
- Sales Pipeline Management: Identifying and developing new leads through various channels such as networking, events, and cold outreach
- Proposal and Contract Development: Writing and managing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or Requests for Quotations (RFQs)
- Relationship Management: Ensuring long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their evolving needs, and ensuring continued retention
- Reporting and KPIs: Providing regular updates to leadership on progress against business development goals, including key metrics and insights
- Strategy Development: Developing long-term strategies for business expansion, including identifying new sectors, products, or services for the company to explore
- A formal UK qualification in a field related to Mechanical Engineering or suitable experience
- Experience in a business development role, in the Nuclear, Fusion Energy and Subsea, or similar industry
