Are you passionate about creating engaging experiences for children? We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to supervise our after-school provision at Penllwyn Community School, located in Ceredigion.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled professional to lead our play environment team and provide high standards of care and play opportunities for children between the ages of 4 and 11. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and stimulating play environment, developing opportunities that encourage social, physical, intellectual, creative, and emotional development through play.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for children.
  • Develop opportunities that encourage social, physical, intellectual, creative, and emotional development through play.
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and provision of activities tailored to individual child needs.
  • Supervise tea time refreshments for children.
  • Follow Safeguarding guidelines and procedures in accordance with Ysgol Penrhyn-coch and Ysgol Penllwyn Federalism policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Ability to work face-to-face with children.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary (£22,000 per annum) dependent on experience, based on national averages for similar roles in Wales. Located in Ceredigion, our school is easily accessible by public transportation.
