About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our year 2 team. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher and providing individualized care to children in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supporting the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  2. Providing one-to-one support to children who require additional help.
  3. Assisting with administrative tasks, such as preparing resources and completing records.
  4. Maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.
  5. Working effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth running of the classroom.

What You'll Need

  • Level 2 or higher childcare or teaching assistant qualification.
  • Experience working with KS1 children and knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Ability to manage behavior issues and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.

What We Offer

  • Competitive daily rate of pay (£15.00 - £18.00).
    Estimated annual salary: £10,950 - £13,140 per annum (pro-rata).
