Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wakefield. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include providing individualized support to students, maintaining accurate records of student progress, and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of student support.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess a minimum of three months' experience working with SEND children. You should also have a valid child enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one. In addition, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs of students with special educational needs and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
