We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist Specialist to join our dedicated Clinical Wellbeing team. As we expand our clinical services, this role offers a unique chance to collaborate in delivering tailored assessment and intervention strategies for our students. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload alongside fellow clinicians at Wessex Lodge School and associated facilities. Supported by our experienced Clinical Team, you will also engage in staff training, consultation, and reflective practice. This role is ideal for a resilient and passionate individual who possesses a therapeutic mindset and the capability to make informed decisions while effectively managing their responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Registered with the HCPC and relevant professional body.
  • Post-graduate doctoral qualification in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology (or equivalent if trained prior to 1996) accredited by the BPS.
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, particularly those with additional needs such as complex trauma or mental health challenges.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage strategically.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various key stakeholders.
  • Competence in working sensitively with individuals and resolving conflicts.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to the role.
  • Significant and relevant post-qualification experience with adults.
  • Experience in lecturing, teaching, or training.
  • Full valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for travel as required.
  • Skills in data management, including the collection and analysis of data to inform service delivery and development.
