Your background may include NHS experience or work in the private care sector, but with the right attitude and skills, we have a role for you.
  • Being a Dialysis Nurse requires dedication and enthusiasm, along with the competencies to balance technical nursing tasks while providing holistic care.
  • You will work independently, responsible for assessing care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating care for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury.
  • The Frome Dialysis Unit operates 12 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 48 patients, in collaboration with North Bristol Trust, utilizing only the latest equipment.
This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week. Current shifts are scheduled between 7.00am to 7.00pm, Monday to Saturday.

  • Upon joining, you will participate in our 8-week Fundamental Dialysis Programme, accredited by the European Dialysis and Transplant Nurses Association/European Renal Care Association.
  • Following this, we continue to provide training and educational opportunities that significantly exceed the CPD hours required for NMC revalidation, helping you elevate your career.
