We are seeking a skilled Scientific Sales Specialist to join our team at Engineering Recruitment PDQ. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and developing distributor networks for our OEM clients within the scientific instrumentation environment.

The ideal candidate will have a scientific background and excellent sales skills to generate revenue and growth. You will be responsible for handling sales inquiries, generating technical responses, and managing business relationships with assigned distributors and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling sales inquiries and generating detailed technical responses
  • Developing and managing business relationships with distributors and customers
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and developing them into sales
  • Collaborating with company resources to fulfill customer requirements
  • Maintaining the CRM system and updating records of inquiries and sales pipeline

Requirements:

  • Experience in selling scientific laboratory products
  • Background or knowledge of microscopy, spectroscopy, or other analytical/materials techniques
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Well-organized, self-disciplined, and result-oriented
