Kasmir Associates is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join our team. As a Senior Credit Controller, you will be responsible for the entire business-to-business credit control process, ensuring efficient and effective management of customer payments and debt recovery.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the credit control process for multiple brands with different criteria, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify improvements within the debt collection process, implementing changes to optimize efficiency and reduce bad debt.
- Post and allocate customer payments, process credit card payments, and issue manual credits, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Manage monthly direct debit collections, including handling direct debit bounces and resolving customer queries.
- Produce client statements, send reminders, and follow the credit control process progressing to LBA, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers.
- Work from a specialist telecommunications billing platform and credit control software, utilizing technical skills to optimize credit control processes.
- Communicate with customers via telephone, email, and post, resolving queries and disputes in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage more difficult accounts with a hands-on approach, achieving settlements and ongoing adherence to contractual terms through negotiation and dispute resolution.
- Provide monthly reports to senior management on the current status of the ledger, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Manage ad hoc credit control and AR-related information requests, providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders.
- At least 2 years' experience of end-to-end credit control and accounts receivable processes, with a focus on business-to-business credit control.
- Experience of credit control of businesses rather than individuals, with a strong understanding of legal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and senior management.
