Educational Support Specialist

Grade A Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support the learning and development of primary and secondary aged students with complex needs at a leading independent SEMH school in Thetford.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, preferably with SEMH needs, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will also possess patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, allowing them to effectively contribute to the overall pastoral care of students.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
- Providing individual and small-group support to students during academic activities and breaks.
- Supervising students during activities and breaks to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports on student progress and behavior.
