Location: Cannock

Salary: £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (50 hours per week)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

Flexicruit's client specializes in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty vehicles, including curtain sider trailers, tractor units, and tippers.

As an experienced Heavy Duty Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service to ensure fleet reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair curtain sider trailers, tractor units, and tippers.
  • Inspect and identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
  • Ensure vehicles and trailers comply with safety standards and legal requirements.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to efficiently troubleshoot faults.
  • Keep accurate records of services and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage and prioritize workloads.

Key Requirements

  • HGV License Class 1 is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working with HGVs, trailers, and tippers.
  • In-depth knowledge of curtain sider trailers, tractor units, and tippers.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
