Job Title: Heavy Plant Fitter - HS2 Project Support
Job Location: Cannock and Surrounding Area
Job Summary:
Shorterm Group is seeking a skilled Heavy Plant Fitter to support the ongoing HS2 Project in the Cannock region. As part of our team, you will provide mechanical assistance on breakdowns, maintain, and service a variety of heavy plant machinery, with a focus on compaction equipment such as rollers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide mechanical assistance on breakdowns and maintain heavy plant machinery
• Maintain and service compaction equipment, particularly rollers
• Work collaboratively as part of a support team for the HS2 Project
Requirements:
• 5 years of industry experience to NVQ level 2 or above in construction plant
• Valid driving license for a minimum of 3 years
• Good knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Knowledge of compaction equipment preferred but not essential
