The Role:

Silcom Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced vehicle technician to join their expanding used car sales and service operation in Cannock.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and general vehicle servicing.
  2. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles.
  3. Carry out repairs on brakes, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems.
  4. Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicles meet quality and safety standards.
  5. Work collaboratively with the service team to maintain a high standard of workshop efficiency.

An estimated salary of £38,000 - £42,000 (OTE up to £47,000) per annum, plus a bonus of £5,000 achievable, reflects the company's commitment to attracting and retaining skilled professionals.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, plus every other Saturday morning, (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM).
