About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will work with children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools, providing emotional and therapeutic support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one counselling sessions to children and young people in a therapeutic capacity
  • Work with a minimum of one day per week, with opportunities to increase hours as needed
  • Participate in regular supervision and training workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive school environment

About You

We are looking for a qualified Counsellor who is passionate about working with children and young people. You will have a Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above) or a Degree, MSc or MA in Counselling, Counselling Psychology or Psychotherapy. You will also have relevant experience of direct work with children and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
