About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor to provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people in our partner schools.

As a Counsellor on Placement, you will work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children, offering one-to-one counselling and contributing to their emotional wellbeing.

Our organisation is committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of children, and we provide a high level of support to our Counsellors through regular supervision, tailored training workshops, and a comprehensive induction programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one counselling to children and young people in our partner schools
  • Work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children
  • Contribute to the emotional wellbeing of children and young people
  • Participate in regular supervision and training workshops
  • Attend a comprehensive induction programme

About You

We are looking for a qualified Counsellor who is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

You will have a Diploma in Counselling or a related qualification, and experience of working with children and young people.
