Counsellor on Placement

Place2Be is seeking a qualified Counsellor to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will work in a therapeutic capacity with children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools, providing emotional and therapeutic support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
About YouWe are looking for a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about working with children and young people. You will have a Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above) or a Degree, MSc, or MA in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or Psychotherapy. You will also have relevant experience of direct work with children.
About the PlacementThe placement is a term-time only position, running for one academic year. You will be required to work a minimum of one day per week, offering one-to-one counselling to up to 3 children. You will also have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year, which are recognised as continuing professional development time.
