Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist - Chemistry Lab Equipment

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in the North of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage the sales cycle, and maximize sales potential.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers through structured site visits, communications, and product demonstrations.
  • Product Knowledge and Training: Conduct on-site sales visits, product demonstrations, and training sessions to ensure customers have a deep understanding of our laboratory solutions.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, follow system processes, and use the system to support sales development.
  • Marketing and Events: Participate in marketing activities, assist with event planning, and report on competitor activity and market conditions.

Requirements:

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Organic/Medicinal/Scale-up and Process Chemists in Pharmaceutical, CRO, Biotech, BioPharma, Research, and Chemical organizations.
  • Sales Experience: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Education: BSc or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Skills: Understanding of products in process and organic chemistry, proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, and a full UK driving license.

Remuneration:

  • Competitive Salary: Competitive salary based on experience (up to £48,000 DOE).
