Air Import Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Air Import Operations Coordinator to join our team at First Choice Staff.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Air, Sea Import operations and be able to consistently meet deadlines in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include:

· Dealing with all aspects of International and Domestic freight movements.

· Monitoring flights and vessels arrival times and informing customers of delays.

· Sorting, filtering, and distributing documentation and creating job files in an accurate and timely manner.

· Acting as a conduit between customers and suppliers to ensure all needs are met within the specified delivery time.

· Liaising with overseas offices for shipment movements, taking responsibility for monitoring progress and keeping customers advised of the status.

· Updating customer reports to ensure accuracy before sending to customers.

· Booking deliveries and arranging collections.

· Completing Customs declarations in line with UK HMRC requirements, including collecting Duty and VAT payments, and monitoring the use of facilities.

· Raising customer invoices and ensuring jobs are profitable.

· Effective time management, ability to deal with customers daily, and knowledge of EDI (Enterprise Operating System) are essential.

· IT literacy in MS Office, Word, and Excel is required.

· Effective organisation skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm.
