Job Title: Digital Underwriting Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join AXIS Capital, a leading global provider of specialty lines insurance and reinsurance.

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Underwriting Technician to join our team in London. As a key member of our Digital Underwriting team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our business.

Main Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the suite of products in support of the Digital Underwriting team and liaising with nearshore development teams to align business needs with platform delivery.

You will work closely with the Digital Underwriting team to proactively solve problems, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Digital Underwriting team to gather and prioritise business requirements.
  • Liaise with IT & operational teams to ensure changes to platforms, processes, and operating models are successfully managed end-to-end and meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Assist and develop detailed business cases and requirement documentation for new products and enhancements to existing products.
  • Communicate product updates and changes to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Education/Training & Experience:
  • Solid experience as a product owner and/or analyst.
  • Experience in defining and prioritising business requirements and needs.
  • Ability to analyse data to help confirm and drive requirement and solution analysis.
  • Experience working with IT teams to help define technical requirements and solutions.
