About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join AXIS Capital, a leading global provider of specialty lines insurance and reinsurance, as a Digital Underwriting Technician.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of our digital underwriting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Digital Underwriting team to identify and solve problems, and implement enhancements to our digital underwriting platforms.
  • Gather and prioritise business requirements to ensure that our digital underwriting capabilities meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Liaise with IT and operational teams to ensure that changes to platforms, processes and operating models are successfully managed end-to-end.
  • Assist in the development of detailed business cases and requirement documentation for new products and enhancements to existing products.
  • Make changes to platforms and pricing models in line with business needs and internal control processes.
  • Communicate product updates and changes to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Solid experience as a product owner and/or analyst.
  • Experience in defining and prioritising business requirements and needs.
  • Able to analyse data to help confirm and drive requirement and solution analysis.
  • Experience working with IT teams to help define technical requirements and solutions.
  • Creative problem-solving ability to define solutions and alternatives that meet business needs.
  • Demonstrable ability to fully understand business processes and business needs.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, processes and regulations.
