Role Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Learning Support Assistant in a Primary school setting, supporting students with additional learning or behaviour needs. The successful candidate will be passionate about the academic and personal development of children and be confident in managing varying behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide individualised support to students with SEND/SEMH needs
  • To work collaboratively with the student support team to develop tailored learning programmes
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and engage in regular feedback sessions with colleagues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
