Job Description

Oaklands College is a leading provider of education and training in the region, and we are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Special Education Mentor. In this role, you will work closely with our Curriculum team, parents, and carers to provide support to students with additional needs.

The ideal candidate will have a good standard of education, extensive experience in supporting students with additional needs, and proficient ICT skills. They will also possess knowledge of Safeguarding policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to students with additional needs to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Liaise with the Curriculum, parents, and carers to provide up-to-date information regarding student support.
  • Manage a team of Learning Support Assistants to ensure they are equipped to support students effectively.
