We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team at Mantra Learning. As a leading Logistics learning and development organisation, we have supported the skills needs of the logistics sector for over 54 years.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business within companies including independent garages, dealerships, councils, manufacturers, recovery and body shops. They will also be required to cross-sell products including Apprenticeships, Pathway, Bootcamp and commercial programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Business Needs Analysis with new customer prospects to identify how we can support their organisation.
  • Support Automotive Manager to ensure your client's needs are being effectively met.
  • Carry out market research, competitor, and customer surveys.
  • Achieve agreed sales performance targets and company behaviour 'Key Performance Indicators' (KPIs).

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within a field-based Business Development / B2B role.
  • Proven experience of negotiating / winning / closing new and repeat business.
  • Use of CRM database.
  • Experience of working within the training sector.
  • Experience of working within the automotive sector.
