Care Support Specialist

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Care Support Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting older people to live independently in their own homes.
Our Reablement Service aims to help individuals regain skills and confidence, enabling them to manage daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, and preparing meals for themselves. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing each person's needs and developing personalized plans to support their recovery.
You will work closely with our service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that everyone receives the best possible care. This is a rewarding role that requires a high level of organization, communication, and empathy.

Requirements
- NVQ level 2/3 in a relevant subject (or equivalent qualifications or experience)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Good understanding of older people, those with disabilities, and reablement
