Job Title: Senior Project Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Planner to join our team at Assystem GmbH. As a Senior Project Planner, you will play a key role in the planning and delivery of our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the evaluation of project time and cost for major infrastructure projects, providing guidance to the supply chain on planning requirements.
  • Assist the Planning Manager in developing programme structures, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), calendars, and dates, aligned with Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and Employer's data dictionary.
  • Help develop cost and resource-loaded programmes during submission, in accordance with delivery milestones.
  • Ensure programmes meet access dates, milestones, and key dates, in compliance with Employer's Planning requirements, contract data, and works information.
  • Contribute to assessing programme risks and implementing mitigation measures.
  • Progress monitoring and regular updating of programmes, forecasting potential problem areas and proposing mitigation measures.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and other works packages to communicate the agreed construction planning approach and share best practices.
  • Appraise, review, and assess supply chain programmes for inclusion in the main programme.
  • Maintain short and medium-term programmes to check main programme objectives are met.
  • Support 'what-if' scenario planning, providing integrated solutions to project conflicts and recoveries.
  • Support the Planning Manager in ad-hoc business requirements.
  • Capture, implement, and share best practice Project Planning policy, processes, and procedures across the business.
Business Development:
  • Identify opportunities to develop Assystem's network and services.
  • Attend/participate in Assystem's knowledge sharing and networking events.
  • Provide market research to sector leads.
  • Run Project Controls Maturity Assessments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience working on major infrastructure and construction projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Primavera P6.
  • Solid understanding of EVM and Project Reporting.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Security Clearance:

This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a BPSS Clearance.

Due to the nature of work, the successful candidate must be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
