We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our growing Planning and Development team at CBRE. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in providing expert planning advice to clients across various sectors and land uses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide planning advice to external and internal clients on a range of development projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
  • Support senior members of the team in preparing strategic and major applications, planning/regeneration strategies, and project outputs.
  • Prepare Planning Appraisals, Local Plan Representations, Statements, and Evidence documents, including analysis of planning policy and assessment of client proposals.
  • Advising and coordinating project outputs from a range of disciplines/professionals, working in a multidisciplinary design team.
  • Management of projects, including financial management, of planning applications, planning appraisals, development plan representations, land promotion, etc.
Requirements
  • Qualified Planner/Senior Planner (MRTPI or MRICS P&D) with a minimum of 1-2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Previous planning consultancy experience or local authority Development Management or Planning Policy background at a comparable level.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, flexible, and commercially astute with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working on a range of development planning/infrastructure/regeneration projects, preferably in the Midlands but not essential.
