Clinical Fellow in Respiratory Medicine

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Fellow to join our Respiratory Department at St Bartholomew's Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust. This is a 6-month fixed-term post starting in October 2024, providing an excellent opportunity for an aspiring respiratory physician to gain valuable experience and skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based care to patients with respiratory conditions
- Liaise effectively with colleagues within the Respiratory Department and other clinical specialties
- Maintain and promote team and multi-disciplinary work
- Provide cover for annual and study leave of colleagues
- Continuing responsibility for the care of patients in their charge
- Essential qualifications: MB BS or equivalent, MRCP or equivalent, registration with a medical defence organisation
- Desirable qualifications: RCP Respiratory SCE
- Eligibility: Full registration with the GMC
- Language skills: Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English
- Experience: At least 2 years hospital experience at SHO (IMT) grade or higher, experience of working in Respiratory Medicine for at least 4-6 months
