About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Fellow to join our Respiratory Department at St Bartholomew's Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust. This is a 6-month fixed-term post starting in October 2024, providing an excellent opportunity for an aspiring respiratory physician to gain valuable experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based care to patients with respiratory conditions
  • Liaise effectively with colleagues within the Respiratory Department and other clinical specialties
  • Maintain and promote team and multi-disciplinary work
  • Provide cover for annual and study leave of colleagues
  • Continuing responsibility for the care of patients in their charge
Person Specification
  • MB BS or equivalent
  • MRCP or equivalent
  • Registration with a medical defence organisation
  • Full registration with the GMC
  • Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English
  • At least 2 years hospital experience at SHO (IMT) grade or higher
  • Experience of working in Respiratory Medicine for at least 4-6 months
