About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Associate to join our Children and Young People's Community Nursing Team in Crawley. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to children and young people with complex and fluctuating health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality nursing care, support, information, and advice to a supervised and/or delegated caseload of children and young people.
  • Maintain excellent communication channels with service stakeholders, including cross-boundary partnership working with healthcare, social care, education services, and local hospices.
  • Develop, implement, and review clinical protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure safe care and best nursing practice.
  • Provide teaching and guidance on the use of equipment and treatment regimes in the community for children and young people.
  • Ensure concise and accurate documentation of care interventions, including telephone advice and support.
  • Act as a resource and role model of children's community nursing specialist practice to all other professionals and work colleagues.
  • Attend relevant education and training practice updates within the Trust, locally and nationally, to contribute to the establishment of clinical practice standards.
