Business Development Manager

MAN Commercial Protection Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Solihull, West Midlands. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing new relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve commercial targets and drive business growth.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to develop and distribute effective external marketing materials that promote our services to a database of prospective clients.
  • Support the Commercial Team with the production of tenders and related materials.
  • Provide regular updates to the CEO on sales performance and business development activities.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of consistently achieving new business and hitting commercial targets.
  • Experience of prospecting, negotiating, and closing contracted sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Professional and confident telephone manner.
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and a real willingness to learn about and engage with our business, and both prospective and current clients.
Package Description:
  • We are offering a competitive salary and benefits including;
  • 21 days holiday per annum plus all UK Bank Holidays. Holiday entitlement increases by 1 day for each full year's service, up to a maximum of 25.
  • 1% commission sales.

This is an office-based role in Solihull, West Midlands. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm inclusive of a 30 minute lunch break.
