Facilities Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team at Chessington World of Adventures Resort. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the resort's facilities and equipment, ensuring a high standard of maintenance and safety for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair facilities and equipment across the resort, including preventive works and responding to breakdown calls.
  • Work collaboratively with the facilities team to ensure all facilities and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for guests and staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service and engage with the public to deliver a memorable experience.
  • Work using own initiative, displaying sound decision-making skills, and thrive in a team environment.
Requirements:
  • Completed a trade-based apprenticeship or qualified to HNC/BTEC level or equivalent in a building trades/services discipline.
  • Recognised qualification in woodwork or on-site joinery desired.
  • Multi-trades background preferred, with good working knowledge of associated regulations and legislation.
  • A people's person, friendly, and a real team player, happy to engage with the public and deliver an excellent level of customer service.
