About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Facilities Management Consultant to join our team at Lidl GB. As a key member of our Regional Maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Regional Maintenance teams to deliver effective contractor management, system support, and cost awareness & management.
- Conduct regional Maintenance consultancy and collaboration visits to promote process optimisation.
- Develop and integrate new processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in the review of GB and International audits to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Monitor external contractors' performance and ongoing expenditure costs/savings.
- Develop and present concepts to management to drive business growth and improvement.
- Work with Lidl internal systems and platforms to generate reports and create efficiencies.
- Assist in the organisation of national Maintenance meetings and training.
- Travel across the GB region up to 25% of the working time to support regional maintenance teams.
Requirements
- Experience working with suppliers, contract management, and tendering is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently within tight deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience of presenting to senior management.
- Proactive, motivated, and driven with a strong work ethic.
- Strong computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Full valid driving license and willingness to travel up to 25% with the occasional overnight stay.
- German language is desirable but not essential.
