About Us

Lidl GB is a dynamic company that thrives in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for a highly motivated Coordinator to join our Import team, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our imported products reach our stores across the country.

Job Summary

As an Import Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, including customs brokers, freight forwarders, and suppliers. You'll work closely with internal teams, such as Customs, Buying, and Supply Chain, as well as International, to support managers in refining business processes.

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled professional with a keen interest in imports and a strong understanding of the variety of import processes and documentation. You'll need to be a great team player with excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business. You'll also require good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and be self-motivated, proactive, and have a great can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, including customs brokers, freight forwarders, and suppliers

• Working closely with internal teams, such as Customs, Buying, and Supply Chain, as well as International, to support managers in refining business processes

• Supporting managers to refine business processes

• Understanding the objectives of our operational and project work, their impact on the business, and dynamically driving solutions to business-critical issues

• Solving problems to key issues proactively and escalating in a timely manner

• Evaluating process and systems relating to all aspects of imports
